How do I calculate fuel cost for a trip in the UK?
Fuel cost = distance (km) ÷ 100 × your car's consumption (L/100km) × the fuel price per litre. In the UK petrol is around £1.45/litre. TripKalc does this automatically for every leg of a multi-stop route.
What currency does the calculator use?
It auto-detects UK users and pre-fills GBP, but you can pick any of 70+ currencies and set your own fuel price.
Does it work for diesel and electric vehicles?
Yes. Switch fuel type to compare petrol, diesel, and electric (kWh/100km with your local electricity rate) side by side.
